How Does Laser Work?
Electrolysis seemed to be the only method of lasting or permanent hair eradication out there before laser and intense pulsed light (IPL) systems moved into the market. Electrolysis could be still conducted these days though it is unpleasant to the patient and invasive to the skin, allowing for the possibility of infection. During the electrolysis treatment, a fine needle could be inserted into the hair follicle, dispensing an electrical current that will eradicate the stem cells within the hair follicle. Sadly, this careful process is carried out a single hair follicle at a time. Maintenance procedures are often necessary for several years after the initial procedure.
