Any performer knows that credibility is very worthy when doing a sequence of magic tricks. One slip-up and you’re cover is blown, and they’ll be watching you with a much closer eye. When individuals see a magic act, especially if they’d paid money, they want to be dazzled and entertained. They don’t want to have to imagine that you are magic. They want to believe you are magic.
A great way to set yourself up as an influence in their minds is through some ostensibly tremendous extrasensory mind reading. But through some basic eye accessing cues, you can frequently tell what kinds of thoughts they are thinking. When you match up your “patter” with the kinds of thoughts they are thinking, your credibility, and their enjoyment, will skyrocket.
Here are the all-purpose rules. When people look up, either up and to the right, or up and to the left, they are normally thinking visually. They are accurately seeing pictures in their minds. When people are looking side to side, they are usually thinking of sounds, either voices, songs, or music.
